Arsenic Works, Poldice Valley

Grounded is an ongoing series of photographs originally conceived in 2007. A fascination with areas of derelict and void landscapes was the initial impotus for the project, that more recently has begun to focus on what happens to post-industrial space once humanity has left it redundant and without purpose. Grounded was a major influence for my project Mineral Tramway, that applied this ideology to specific landscapes defined by one route.
